Exercise “Draw stress”

Purpose: To find the internal resources of the individual to overcome stressful reactions, to draw out negative blocks associated with emotional stress.
Tasks: Consists of three consecutive stages of drawing and analysis of drawings:
1. Participants are asked to take a pencil of any color and draw stress in a non-objective form in the form of shapes and lines.
2. Then it is proposed to describe the situation that causes stress on the second sheet of paper and name the emotion that causes tension.
3. We continue to draw. Next, it is proposed to imagine what color and what form can help get rid of negative emotions. We change the drawing so that there is no trace of stress left.
4. After drawing, it is important to analyze what emotions the second drawing evokes. How emotions have changed.
