Work with images of fabulous animals and magical birds in art therapy
which will take place on 22.09.-23.09. 2011

Purpose: to acquaint listeners with the various possibilities of a psychologist’s work with images of fabulous animals and magical birds.
Target group: designed for practical psychologists, psychologists of educational, medical and recreational institutions, social workers, counseling psychologists, psychotherapists, teachers, parents, students.

In the seminar program:
– Creation of new mythological attitudes in behavioral psycho-correction;
– Ways to activate the resources and personal potential of a person with the help of the game “Who stands guard over my Self.”
– Correction of complexes and negative attitudes with the help of the psychological metaphorical game “Who will hatch from the egg?”.
– Metaphorical fantasizing as a form of searching for resources with the help of associative maps “HABITAT”.
– Correction of fears in children with the help of art technologies “A gift to the bird that saved me” or “Where to take my fear.”
– Working out with the help of sand therapy the problems of maladjustment in the environment using the technique “Terrible and funny walks among the animals.”
– The technique of fairy tale therapy in order to overcome the psychotraumatic conditions in adults and children “Forest Well”.
– Clay therapy technique when working with children who are going through a divorce of their parents “When the bird flies out of the nest.”
– Isotherapeutic technique “Follows the animals, steps ahead of me.”
– Associative exercise “If I were an animal, then who would I be.”
– Mini-lecture “Archetypic and metaphorical images of animals and birds in art therapy”.
– Metaphorical introspection “What is my animal or bird will save me from anxiety.”

Forms of work: mini-lectures, diagnostic workshop, use of art therapy exercises.

Workshop participants will be able to:
1. To form the skills and abilities of a psychologist with this category of images in art therapy.
2. Intensify the search for your own resources.
3. Get the necessary methodological materials to assist the client.
4. Fill in a theoretical case on this issue.
5. Get a certificate confirming participation in the training.
