People are afraid of color, as they are afraid of their strength.

 

People are afraid of themselves. Good or bad, I don’t know. I noticed only one thing: they do it in order to stay in the reality that they know and understand for various reasons. But the moment of inevitable change comes, and then – the color becomes a conductor to the power, which will make it possible to accept the new.

A color can strike like thunder with all its neuropower or quietly lull like in a child’s cradle, sing the song of freedom or blaze with forest fire. And something happens inside, something seems to open, like a portal. And the person seems to be changing before our eyes. He removes the armor of control and fear. It is like contact with the soul itself.

After all, color is nothing, it is without obligations and claims, it simply exists in life. Color is freedom and meaning, the energy of space that organizes emptiness. And when this feeling comes, a person gives the right to his power of color to be, filling a sheet of paper with it, like himself.

Someone strokes a sheet of paper with a brush with color, like a soft and warm palm of a mother. Someone draws as if dancing an incendiary dance on a summer night on the shores of the Mediterranean with his beloved, allowing himself the brightness of all feelings. The other seems to want to defeat the color, like a wild beast, fights with it, and in this contact recognizes himself and his strength.

Observing such metamorphoses, one comes to the conclusion that color is something more than a physical phenomenon, it is a mental phenomenon.

Watch when a child contemplates a rainbow and freezes in admiration that is still incomprehensible to him. He already then touches the invisible source of all the power of color, absorbing it into the very essence.

So art therapy allows you to touch your strength through color.
Live in the color of your power.
What is he? Draw for them. Think with this color. Breathe in this color. Capture its scent. Move in this color. And then you will not even notice how your unique power will be in you, and it will be simple – drawing with color.
