Motivational crises: the use of art therapy techniques and methods in the formation of motivational desires and needs.

(Art therapy in organizational psychology)

 

Purpose: Implementation of art-psychological forms of work in the process of accompanying the formation of the main tendencies of the client’s personality by psychologists and methods of effective diagnostics by means of art therapy. Within the framework of the seminar, psychological models of the integral mental reality of the individual, the sphere of implementation of motivational crises will be presented, the main strategies of possible forms of manifestation of “I want” will be considered. Certain mechanisms and factors of the effective impact of art therapy when working with clients at different stages of self-realization. The workshop will present art therapy technologies for modeling clients’ resources using creative expression tools.

Expected results

1. Structuring methodological knowledge and ideas about the use of art therapy approaches in the formation of motivational desires and needs of the individual.
2. Forms of art therapy work of a psychologist in the system of psychological assistance in crisis conditions, which are associated with the inability to realize the main tendencies of the individual.

Forms of work: mini-lectures, art therapy forms (isotherapy techniques, work with metaphorical and thematic maps, visualizations, work with visual metaphors, fairy tale therapy.

• Acquaintance of the participants of the seminar, formation of a request from the participants
• Mini lecture “Models of a holistic mental reality in the formation of motivational desires and needs in the system of prevention and correction by art therapy methods”
• Art technique “The door of desires and the key of desires”
• Art technique “Cartography”
• Art sharing.

Additional education: specialized training – “Trainer of educational and thematic trainings”, (Kiev, 1999), training according to the training program “Methodology of youth seminars”, “Moderation” (Kiev, 2000), Isotherapy (Moscow 2011), International project Art-psychotherapy in the framework of the USP (2011).
