It is the symbolism of cats that provides a more subtle metaphorical analysis of the problems and characteristics of the family space and is an excellent motive for a psychodiagnostic drawing.

In order to explore the strategies of family space and relieve tension, internal criticism and censorship of awareness, I propose a metaphor for the drawing “Family Evening of Cats”. Have each of the family members draw a typical evening at home, if it were a cat family.

Purpose of the methodology: This methodology will provide a visual space for understanding the processes and mechanisms of reflection of processes, communications and interactions in the family field.

Progress:
Offer everyone a piece of paper and depict your family in the form of cats on an ordinary evening

Analysis of the methodology:
1. How do cats like to spend the evening?
2. Who is bored or having fun?
3. How can they live together in a house?
4. What other things will they do?
And other questions that reveal the essence of the family space.
