Drawing for a child is a safe space for self-expression. And an adult, as a wise model of the social, must provide the maximum allowable level of freedom and choice of creative tools, which will subsequently make it possible to project this skill of free self-expression in the situation of adult life.
So, if you want to socialize a child with creative self-expression methods, consider a number of rules:
1. Provide your child with freedom of choice and creativity options. Let him choose what, how and with what to draw.
2. Without a personal request, do not decide and do not help to do it beautifully and correctly. Let the child grow in the process of creativity.
3. Invite the child to consider the world and display it in drawings. In a manner and form that suits him. Let him translate the world into his fantasy, and from there onto a piece of paper. It develops thinking and creativity. And in the future your child will be a thinking and creative person.
