ART ACTIVITIES DURING QUARANTINE

ART activities with children during quarantine that will benefit creativity and imagination and help make being together rewarding and creative:

  1. Creating your own therapeutic fairy tales and illustrating them, and if possible, theatrical production is the best method of self-soothing.
  2. Makeup. While there is an opportunity, it is necessary to try all kinds of drawings on the body with henna or a special marker on the body. The long tradition of body painting is one of the main mechanisms of self-defense and disguise from problems.
  3. Come up with your morning and evening dance. Record a video and dance every day. Dance as such is a form of rhythms and order, which also relieves physical tension.
  4. Make funny, non-standard hairstyles every day, take pictures and have fun. A visual change in appearance provides variety in accepting oneself in a situation of monotony.
  5. In a conspicuous place, put a special notebook for family anger, in which you can write and draw anything that is not very good. This method is mandatory for families in which it is not customary to express negative emotions, but they must be manifested.
  6. Build your vermicelli jewelry collection and hold a home auction. This form of activity teaches children to organize a strategy for achieving the goal.
  7. Every day draw your quarantine art journal, preferably one for the whole family. The book of experiencing difficulties is nothing more than a manuscript of experience and a storehouse of family wisdom.
  8. Play more with boxes: for example, a paper zoo in a box, a forest, a garage with cars, a metropolis with houses, or a fairy tale castle of a princess. Boxes, like a projection of the world, give a sense of interior space.
  9. Come up with a collection of winding dolls from small pieces of fabric. This form of activity relieves stress and creates a sense of security.
  10. Bring Lego to life, shape funny figurines and give them names, create stories. Such work with construction triggers programs of self-organization.
  11. Scary masks made from ordinary corrugated cardboard – against the virus, to scare him a lot. Mask therapy is a sacred, historical method of self-defense, it should not be neglected.
  12. Create your own board game. For example, what I want, but can’t do, and the rest give possible options. This method relieves stress on external prohibitions.
  13. Sing the songs in turn, each in a phrase or in a certain sequence, this will organize the space well.
  14. Sprout seeds or grow flowers. This method is an excellent form of grounding. Let everyone have a home flower bed or a mini-garden in a pot.
  15. Change roles. Have a role reversal day that will give you a chance to see the new resource and highlight issues that need to be addressed.
  16. Search for trash. Come up with a quest: whoever finds the most unnecessary – he won. Quests to create order perfectly teach the child to quickly self-organize. But there must be prizes.
  17. Come up with a place for spontaneous creativity, for example, it can be a specially prepared wall or any place where you can be free. There must be a place of freedom.
  18. Do cooking art shows. Invent and decorate dishes in an unusual way, this is a great way to develop creativity.
  19. Come up with a word of the day. Write words every day and continue to them, the form may be different. You can draw the word of the day, you can come up with a verse for it or pick up a song.
  20. Make thematic art galleries in the house from children’s drawings, where parents, like guides, conduct tours of the work of their children, giving them value and significance. Here are some sample topics: “Spring at Home”, “Lessons at Home”, “All Together”, “Secret Desires”. And may everyone be healthy!
