Zebra balance

(Metaphor for the art therapy process from Victoria Nazarevich)

The new rules of the world require new solutions, the balance between the various binary oppositions of life require us to have an extraordinary originality of self-regulation.
Asking myself these questions for the second year of being in the war, I am looking for simple and easy images that can be transmetaphorized into techniques and technologies of art therapy.
The seventh air raid per day led me to the image of a zebra.
Absolutely not a predatory animal, which in a strange way did not hide, but, on the contrary, received an evolutionarily shocking loud color.

However, recently, American zoologists from the University of California announced that they were able to establish exactly why zebras need stripes. It turns out that the striped skin perfectly protects these animals from annoying insects. Scientists from the United States, on the basis of numerous experiments, were able to prove that flies, gadflies, horseflies and other flying parasites love plain surfaces, and for some reason they practically ignore striped ones. And this is a symbolic answer – originality protects.

And so I invite you to join art therapy to this symbol and draw it with thoughts of your own striped originality, which can protect you.

To do this, try to draw a zebra and in the process of drawing, reflecting on your own original ideas, how you can protect yourself from current traumatic events and get balance.

I advise you to carefully follow the thoughts in the process of drawing and after. The insights you get will surprise you!

So, striped protection and good balance-realizations to all of us!
