What should not be done during the war, so as not to be upset later?

 

1. Give in to despair! For everything will pass, and this state will also pass.

2. Criticize yourself! In situations of stress, we turn on defense mechanisms, and this is quite normal for survival.

3. Try not to notice the changes! Such a position of ignoring can lead to fatal strategic mistakes, it is better to analyze reality in many ways.

4. Be squandering! You may need resources for new needs. Spending up to 10% of your permanent income on things that do not affect survival will be more or less safe.

5. Destroy relationships! Contacts and social interaction are an important condition for survival and success, so breaking contacts is extremely dangerous, especially with loved ones. On the contrary, you should look for new contacts!

6. Panic from fantasies! Oh God, how will it be? Indeed, only God knows! But our inner horror films are a very real stress for the psyche, so it makes sense to slow down the swing of fantasies, so it will become easier to perceive reality.

7. Be a collector of troubles! To accept, seek out and collect in one’s own mind negativity and catastrophes, grief and pain is a form of destructive filling oneself with emotions, but our brain is very smart, it perceives everything and must process it. Sorry, because it’s not easy!

8. Count only on others! “I will ask, I will ask and someone will do it” is a temporary tactic, because everyone in the war is on the verge of normality and stress, stress and trauma. So if you can do it yourself and save the resource of another, maybe you should do it.

9. Rely only on old experience! New conditions require new knowledge and skills from us, so relying on what we could do is no longer working. So invest time in new skills.

10. Live for one day and live for an unknown future. Here it is necessary to maintain a balance and understand that there must be a clear idea of ​​what I already have for the future and what I need; send forces to organize a safe space for at least 6 months.

These are the simple psychological tips you should remind yourself of in situations of instability, change, and trials. All of us endurance and faith!
