Seminar-training for practical psychologists and specialists in helping professions on the topic

“Correction of psychosomatic states in children and adolescents by methods of art psychology”

Purpose: Acquaintance with art-psychological strategies and forms of work in the process of accompanying psychosomatic manifestations in children and adolescents. Within the framework of the seminar, methods for diagnosing psychosomatic manifestations and features of the analysis of problems with the help of children’s art products will be worked out. Certain mechanisms and factors of the effective impact of art therapy when working with psychosomatic manifestations when working with children of different ages. The seminar will present art-therapeutic technologies for accompanying children with the manifestation of psychosomatic reactions, symptoms and diseases.

Expected results

  1. Structuring methodological knowledge and ideas about the use of art therapy approaches to psychosomatic manifestations in children and adolescents
  2. Review of methods and forms of work of a psychologist in the system of art-therapeutic support of psychosomatic children and adolescents
  3. Art-therapeutic methods and forms of work with this problem

Target group of participants: everyone, teachers, consultant psychologists, students.

 

Forms of work: mini-lectures, art therapy forms (isotherapy techniques, work with metaphorical and thematic maps, visualization, fairy tale therapy).

  2. Diagnostic block “Conversation with the body through drawing”
  3. Correction block “Art-psycho-technologies for minimizing psychosomatization in children and adolescents”
  4. Preventive block “Methods of art therapy to prevent the manifestations of somatization in different situations in children and adolescents”

 

At the end of the program, participants receive a confirmation certificate from the Western Ukrainian Association of Art Psychologists and Art Therapists
