Art therapy support for a client in crisis

TOPIC: “ Family Crises: Art Therapy Help for Families in Crisis Situations “

Purpose: art-psychological forms of work in the process of overcoming destructive crisis states of families. As part of the seminar, the main strategies of possible forms of assistance in coping with crises will be considered. Certain mechanisms and factors of the effective impact of art therapy when working with families in the process of crisis support. The seminar will present art therapy technologies for working with families in crisis processes using the means of creative self-expression.

Expected results

1. Structuring methodological knowledge and ideas about the use of art therapy approaches to work in the system of supporting the family crisis process.
2. Forms of art-therapeutic work of a psychologist in the system of psychological assistance in crisis situations in the family space.
3. Possibility of personal work of participants in groups.
4. Methodological materials for independent study of the topic.

Forms of work: mini-lectures, art therapy forms (associative method, isotherapy techniques (serial drawing), work with metaphorical and thematic maps, visualization, work).

Thematic content of the seminar

 

• Acquaintance of the participants of the seminar, formation of a request from the participants
• Diagnosis of socio-psychological disorders of communication functions and adaptation mechanisms to the social environment in the interpretation of the client’s art product. Formation of understanding of crisis conditions caused by changes in environmental factors: housing and living conditions, the level of material well-being, physical conditions at work, development of methods for structuring and fixing experience.
• Art diagnostics and Art correction of the relationship crisis: family crises, value conflicts, resource conflicts, role conflicts;
• Art modeling of the harmony of socio-psychological states.
• Art-sharing “Me and people”
