First, the group members make dough from flour, salt, sunflower oil, PVA glue, then gouache is added to it. It is pleasant to draw with such paints, created by one’s own hands, to express oneself and one’s feelings, to leave a mark…
Recipe for “magic colors”: mix 2 tablespoons of flour with 1.5 tablespoons of salt, add 1/3 teaspoon of sunflower oil and a little water. Knead. Gradually, the dough needs to be diluted with water so that it becomes watery, like a thick pancake dough. After that, 2 tablespoons of PVA glue are added. If the adze is too thick, you can add water. Next, gouache of the color you want to create is added to the dough.
The members of the group agree among themselves, each undertakes to make their own color. For painting, paints become common.
It is best to draw on rough cardboard. In the process of drawing, the paints are not smeared, but poured onto cardboard. This creates volume.
The composition of paints has a symbolic meaning. Getting into a fairy-tale land, the group members learn another kind of magic – the creation of colors. It is with the help of wonderful colors that you can tell the world about what you feel, what you think about, what you aspire to. However, thinking about the high, being carried away in your imagination to transcendental distances, you must remember the world in which you were born. Remember about “daily bread” and “salt of life”, about “oiling things” and “gluing situations together”. Therefore, putting flour in a vessel for mixing paints and grinding it between our fingers, we will think about bread, about grain that gives life, about our roots. By adding salt and mixing it with flour with your fingers, let’s remember the “salt of the earth.” Or a fairy tale about a princess who was not afraid to tell her father-king that she loved him like salt in food. Dripping sunflower oil, it is important to think about the fact that things related to our creative aspirations should go “like clockwork.” Gradually saturating the dough with water, let’s remember about the water from which life arose, about the “energy of fluidity”, flexibility and creativity. By adding PVA glue to the wonderful dough, it is useful to think about how people, means and events “stick together”, bringing the situations of our life to a creative result.
The world that we create within ourselves and around us cannot be black and white. It is colorful, multifaceted, sparkling. We will remember this when adding paint to the wonderful dough.
In the future, the paintings are used as decorations or themes for writing stories.
