Prevention of xenophobia by puppet therapy methods

Technique “Puppets of the world”
Purpose: To teach a child to accept another, to reduce the level of anxiety in relation to people of other nationalities. Develop a sense of tolerance.
Materials: A piece of soft wire, threads of different colors (white, yellow, black, brown), pieces of fabric and beads for decorating outfits.
Stage 1. Mini-lecture “Peoples of the World” with a story about the life, customs and attire of the peoples of the world on different continents
2. Stage. Making a doll. The puppet therapist tells and shows the basic techniques for creating a doll frame. Helps the participants.
3. Stage. Presentation of each doll with a story about where and how she lives.
