John Allan “Baby Soul Landscape”

john allan (259x400, 41Kb)
Child Soul Landscape is a detailed description of the depth psychologist’s ten years of experience working with children and adolescents. The book uses a Jungian approach that allows the therapist to provide a “safe space” for treatment and offers appropriate specific materials and tools for this. In this context, healing is carried out both with the help of the psychotherapist himself, and through the targeted use of expressive art therapy techniques. In particular, through actions, images and fantasies, emotional realization and personal growth occur. Ultimately, the expression of problems, the staging of psychological trauma and painful experiences lead to correction and transformation. Paints, pencils, crayons, toys, and clay are just as important means of expression, movement, and development as are acts of creativity, imagination, play, and drama. These forms of activity allow the child to move from the experience of initial loss, suffering and despair to the restoration of self-control and good mood.
