January 11 is the “most polite” day of the year – today is International Thank You Day
The magic word expressing respect, benevolence and gratitude, on average, each person pronounces 20 times a day and hears the same number in response.

The initiators of the celebration of this date were the UN and UNESCO. And all in order to remind people of good manners and the ability to express gratitude. Don’t just use it as a courtesy. Candidate of Psychological Sciences Victoria Nazarevich says that this word represents the completion of certain actions, so it is very important to hear and speak it.

You need to pronounce the magic word every day, says the specialist. And above all, do not forget to thank your loved ones and relatives. After all, they usually hear it less often than colleagues or acquaintances. To whom the inhabitants will thank on this day – they tell willingly.

The word “thank you” is of foreign origin. It left the Polish “dzenkuyu”, and took roots in Germany – from “danke”. “Thank you,” from the words “save Big.” Psychologists believe that words of gratitude are “verbal strokes” that can soothe and warm with their warmth. However, the main thing is that they are pronounced from the bottom of the heart.
