Draw always

Many people know that as soon as in moments of oblivion at meetings or when talking on the phone we fly away into our thoughts, the hand unconsciously begins to create plots from patterns. What does this give us and why is it always better to draw than to be treated or suffer? My 20 years of experience with drawing in psychology, understanding it through many forms and methods in my work, makes it possible to draw several conclusions on this phenomenon of drawing. So, why is it good to draw always and everywhere:

  1. Creating a drawing makes it possible to focus and concentrate, while removing excess tension on a sheet of paper. And our nervous system reacts to this as a balanced process. Involuntarily, attention switches from one process to another – preventing overstrain from one form of activity. And this is very useful for productive thinking. Drawing helps balanced thinking and develops intelligence!

  1. Drawing during an important life process is a symbolic form of remembering information, transmitting it with images in the form of your own signal system to the depths of your consciousness. Therefore, as soon as it is important to remember something in the task of an activity, it is, of course, desirable to draw. Drawing helps memorization!

  1. When the decisions of a cold mind are required in the processes of our life, and emotions do not allow the mind to be heard, it is very important to remain calm. It is emotional control that allows us to logically draw the necessary conclusions. In such cases, drawing also becomes the number one method: it makes it possible to embody its tension in lines and forms, thereby freeing us from unnecessary emotionality and stabilizing our state. Drawing helps to calm down!

  1. The images that we create on paper without thinking allow us to manifest what is often very important to us and act as a dialogue with ourselves. Drawing in this case is like asking for advice and receiving it in deep, true thoughts, looking into the depths of the Soul itself. It’s like having a sincere, sincere conversation with yourself. At the same time, looking at what happened in the end, we can very honestly hear our needs through the images of the drawing. Drawing helps to understand yourself!

  1. Spontaneous drawing provides one of the most important human needs – self-expression. Any shape of desire can be drawn to manifest itself. Self-expression is a form of manifestation of reality and is necessary for any person. By drawing, we bring out everything that we cannot say or label, while expanding our own skill of self-expression. Which is very important for modest and shy people, because the fear of self-manifestation is one of the most common on Earth. Drawing helps to express yourself in the world!

  1. Drawing is the best means of communication, and this fact has been known since the beginning of time. It is very convenient to conduct internal dialogues with oneself through the symbolic language of the drawing. Drawing in this case acts as a solid and understandable form of communication, which easily and without self-deception conveys the most important information. Drawing helps to talk to yourself!

  1. Drawing in training can be used as a teacher. Sketching knowledge, we easily and simply create associative links with new material for us. Thus, the beginner’s neural pathways are formed much easier and faster. And when we recreate them, we have both a visual and a mental image, which helps to automate any information in the brain very quickly. Drawing helps you learn!

  1. Drawing is known to be a process associated with pleasure and enjoyment. The act of any creation causes happiness in a person – as a form of manifestation of the Divine principle in oneself. After all, no animal has the ability to consciously create, except for the pinnacle of evolution – man. And drawing is a very human skill. Therefore, when we draw and we also like it, we become happier. Drawing helps to become happier!
