
How often our thoughts get confused in the head, like randomly scattered things, form a tornado of words and judgments, received information and fears, assessments and constant internal dialogues. So, in order to quickly understand and bring yourself into a state of logical understanding, to determine what needs to be preserved and understood, and what is just cognitive garbage, you can use a collage. Collage is an excellent art therapy practice, or rather a form of creative activity, which ensures the systemic penetration of priority thoughts onto a sheet of paper and is boldly fixed there in the form of images, phrases or drawings. And believe me, if something does not appear in the collage, then it is definitely superfluous and you can safely get rid of it in your thoughts. Otherwise, superfluous thoughts, like itchy flies, will not let you hear the main thing that your inner voice will whisper.
So, a little about the technology for implementing the art therapy method:
1. We collect everything that is, that at least somehow can be collected and connected on a piece of paper, we make a “creative pile of rubbish”. It can be pictures, advertisements, photos from magazines, anything that catches your attention.
2. We choose a sheet of paper that will most accurately provide space for your creativity.
3. Prepare glue and scissors.
4. We create an installation about important thoughts that I want to put in order (provide yourself with enough time).
5. And after the work done, just read the messages about the importance of thoughts and the order in which they are presented on a piece of paper.
