Art recovery experience

 

Like many people on earth, I reacted to this civilizational experience in different ways. Realizing that there is a lot of fear for life in him and a lot of panic moods that burst out from the fear of the unknown and internal impotence to plan your future.

And now, without hearing tastes and smells for a whole month, after a difficult process, I decided to tell my supportive art methods for healing. But before that, a few thoughts about the process itself.

I’ll start over

1. Denial. I saw many people who truly believe that there is no virus, they do not get sick. It is by faith that it is given to people. Since I believed that there was a virus, I peered into the World with the task of contacting it and confirming my faith – I fell ill.
My simple conclusion: if you believe, you will get sick! Having been ill, it is much easier to relieve stress than to wait for infection. Experience brings knowledge!

2. The choice is to live or die. People who get sick are fighting not with the virus, but with their thoughts on the topic “do I want to live at all”? And those who wanted to die took advantage of this chance. I studied fatal cases with passion and found such a triad in each: fatigue from life, disappointment from my meanings, social emptiness. But those who have a reason to live – and get sick easier.

3. Suffering is another not the easiest aspect of the disease. At one point, like everyone else, I was scared. Knowing the treatment algorithms, I really did not want to drink antibiotics, calming down, I listened to myself. What can I replace them with? And as an art therapist at the molecular level, I got the idea to buy a new set of healing paints – “all shades of yellow”, and I went to the art store with a temperature and collected myself a set of my “yellow medicines”. It was not very correct to go, but I followed all the safety measures for others. And then there were almost 60 drawings of yellow. Until I got to the green, I didn’t stop. I felt sick and scared, but by the evening the temperature and fear had gone. And just a process began, which nothing from my mental world interfered with.

4. Powerlessness – as if you fall off your feet a hundred times a day – this makes you lie down. And what did I notice: energy returned to the desired work. As soon as I had to go to the kitchen to cook – that’s it, I’m dying. As I go to create, I quietly come to life. Having started to listen to her desires, she quickly returned the flow of energy. Listen to your desires – or you will exhaust yourself with the struggle. What did I do in this state? There were two main processes – she remembered the sea and her state at sea, so that the body remembered how good it felt. And at the first real opportunity I went to the forest, I didn’t succeed for more than 2 hours, but it was priceless for recovery.

So, now I will share the top 5 art methods that I used:

1. Immunity mandalas – just with a black pen in any convenient situation;

2. Many drawings in yellow – more spontaneous and abstract;

3. Graphic patterns;

4. Aphorismotherapy – caught phrases of support;

5. Ugly drawings – rebelled in violation of the aesthetics of the images.

Here is such a protocol of art methods that helped me become part of collective immunity in a pandemic reality.
