Once, on one frosty day, we were thinking with a group of psychologists about happiness and health, which is especially important on the eve of the New Year, and the amazing psychologist Alisa Dragan, looking at my metaphorical card from the META-ART set of cards, said an absolutely amazing association. She said that this abstract image reminds her of a desert in which there is an hourglass, where sand is like possibilities, which we ourselves very often dose, limit, lock into forms that are inconvenient for ourselves and constantly measure or compare. So she revived the abstraction, a story based on one metaphorical picture.
With the permission of the author of the association, I shared it with my most beloved and amazingly talented artist of our time, Anzhela Dotsyuk, who simply stunningly deeply revived this metaphor on the artistic canvas, gave it a form and a completely unique content. The transparency and mystery of the picture seem to penetrate into the secret corners of our subconscious, expand the boundaries and open understanding of ourselves. The strangeness and miraculousness of this image gives the fantasy world unique opportunities to play with imagination, filling it with its own meaning and individual overtones of reality.
Try to play with this metaphor:
1. Who was the owner of the hourglass?
2. Who left the clock in the desert?
3. Why is the clock left and open?
4. What did the watch measure?
5. What’s next?
Well, if your fantasy passes the aisles of your hourglass, the creation of a fairy tale is recommended.
