The outstanding Polish satirist, poet, aphorist of the 20th century Stanisław Jerzy Lec said wonderful words:

“We love being alone; and tightly squeeze the mobile phone in hand;
We don’t believe in perfect people; and every day in the crowd we look out for our ideal;
We don’t trust people; and at least once a week we cry into someone’s vest;
We write our personal diaries; and want to be read.
We forgive ourselves for all mistakes; and look askance at those who commit them;
We shock people; and afraid to say “I love”;
We don’t care about public opinion; and we keep asking, “How do I look?”
Our ignorance reaches more and more distant worlds.
