A fairy tale, drawing, collage and puppet therapy harmoniously merge. It is good to use in the correction of somatically weakened children, after protracted illnesses. The creation of a small creature in a nutshell gives the child the necessary resource to activate his potential for recovery. Here is an approximate sequence of using the Thumbelina technique in art therapy.<br \/> Stage 1. We create a chrysalis in a shell. Materials for work: walnut shells, pieces of knitwear. We come up with a story with the child about the appearance of the chrysalis.  <br \/> Stage 2. Telling a fairy tale. Little Thumbelina is a brave girl, she is not afraid of trials and dangerous adventures that lie in wait for her in the big world. Thumbelina never stops falling out of the fire and into the frying pan. After many misadventures, lost and alone, Thumbelina becomes the prey of the gloomy mouse Mona, who promises her shelter and a table if she marries the reclusive Mr. Mole. When the wedding day comes &#8230; Thumbelina marries, but not for a mole, but for a prince &#8211; and becomes a Princess! Illustration in drawings. Creating your own book of fairy tales using the collage technique.  <br \/>  Stage 3. Creating a Thumbelina wedding doll.
