A sketchbook is an ideal tool for capturing ideas and intentions, experiences, sketches of an emotional state, because an album with clean, unlined sheets greatly stimulates creative activity. The white space of a paper sheet is drawn to be filled with the results of long reflections and instant flashes of ideas.
\nUsing an album to develop creativity is an excellent technology of art therapy. Keeping a visual diary will enable the client to enjoy life more, teach them to look closely at their desires and feelings. Changes can even come much faster than with psychotherapy only in the psychologist’s office. The album is a personal creative resource and often becomes a place for self-reproduction and self-renewal.
\nThis album can contain everything you like and want: personal photographs, aphorisms, comments, poems, clippings from magazines, pictures, drawings, color spots. There should be no restrictions, everything that the client needs is included in the diary. The product of the client’s creativity often becomes the product of analysis together with the psychologist.<\/p>\n
