However, psychologists say that it is much more effective to draw it in all its glory, or rather, in all colors. Or molded from plasticine. Children’s fun? By no means!

 Psychologist or paint?

Healing with the help of art came from the depths of centuries, it is no coincidence that art therapy is closest to primitive prehistoric art. Initially, art therapy was used mainly as a method of psychocorrection. Even in very difficult patients, with its help, apathy and lack of initiative are eliminated, which often replaces drug treatment, because a person’s self-healing resources are closely related to his creative abilities. However, art therapy has long gone beyond medical offices. For healthy people, this is an excellent means of preventing neuropsychiatric diseases. Treatment with art helps to get rid of depression, phobias, neuroses, as it increases self-esteem, relaxes and gets rid of negative emotions and thoughts, forms a creative attitude to life with all its difficulties and teaches you to find ways to overcome them.

Classical art therapy includes only visual forms of creativity, such as painting, graphics, photography, drawing and modeling. However, the number of such methods is constantly growing. Today, art therapy also has in its arsenal origami, music therapy, game therapy, sand drawings and much more. A complex method was also developed – art synthesis therapy, combining elements of painting and versification, dramaturgy and theater, rhetoric and plasticity. We will focus on the most common and affordable techniques – drawing and modeling.

 What to buy?

If strong emotions such as aggression or anger prevent you from fully enjoying life, then the best choice in the stationery department is plasticine (it can be successfully replaced with clay, dough, etc.). Drawing will irritate, but under oppressed conditions, watercolor is an excellent doctor. Keep in mind that the more diverse the palette, the more interesting and useful the upcoming conversation with yourself will be.

A brush allows you to liberate your consciousness better than a pencil and felt-tip pens. When you master the basics of art teparia, you can include them in your arsenal, even make collages using clippings from magazines.

However, if you want to start with pencils or, for example, crayons, you should follow your desires.

It is worth getting a large color palette, but preference should be given to paints. Pencils are less conducive to the emancipation of the subconscious, especially at first.

 How to sculpt and draw?

As a matter of fact, nothing limits you, except your own imagination. You can use spontaneous images to depict a situation that worries you, or draw yourself, your family, work.

If you are sad, draw your sadness and mentally talk to it, this will help you find the path to joy (do not forget, when you find answers to disturbing questions, depict it too).

You can mold your problem and have a heart-to-heart talk with it, and then transform what annoys you into something else. You can even do it rather rudely if you like.

For those who are seriously interested in art therapy, you can even offer such an effective way as (do not be surprised!) Draw yourself in full growth.

To do this, you will need an assistant. Glue several sheets of whatman paper or use white wallpaper. Ask your assistant to circle you, and then you can enjoy the creativity alone, coloring yourself, your loved one, to your heart’s content. Imagine what is happening inside you, how energy flows through the body.

By the way, this can be turned into an exciting game for your child, and this will allow you to get an idea of it changing

 emotional state.

 Tips for beginners

 – If you want to say goodbye to harmful addictions with the help of art therapy, take three sheets. On one, draw your state before addiction. On the second – the moment when it dominates you. And on the third, depict your state after getting rid of addiction. Did you see the difference?

 – Do not try to draw beautifully and “as expected.” It only prevents you from expressing your emotions!

 – It is not the psychotherapist who should interpret the drawing, but the “artist” himself. No specialist, even for a lot of money, will tell you more than you can find out about yourself. Therefore, review your drawings from time to time, collect them in a separate folder and note how they change. This will tell you which direction to move in the future.

 Marina Kholodova

http://digest.subscribe.ru/woman/psychology/n953988870.html

</noindex>

[1000

post-25869","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-art-therapy
["GET
