Or watched a cartoon, a film adaptation of a fairy tale, folk or author’s? Under what circumstances did this happen? What were you thinking? What impression did this fairy tale / this cartoon make on you? What is your favorite fairy tale? Why? What do you like most about your favorite fairy tale or about fairy tales in general? Think and answer these questions for yourself. The answers to them are very interesting and important from the point of view of fairy tale therapy.

Fairy tale therapy (fairy tale therapy for children, fairy tale therapy for adults) is a modern psychotherapeutic direction that actively uses the huge potential contained in one of the most ancient manifestations of human creativity – fairy tales. It is traditionally believed that only young children need a fairy tale to explain to them the essence of things and phenomena in a simple and understandable language, to convey wisdom to the child, to teach him something important and useful (fairy tale therapy for children). In connection with these traditional ideas, at first it may seem unusual to use fairy tales in therapeutic work with adults (fairy tale therapy for adults). But think, do adults no longer need magic, miracles, simplicity, wisdom? Do all adults know and understand everything? After all, if this is so, then, probably, psychologists and psychotherapists would not have a job.

Fairy tale therapy is based on the fact that a child lives inside every adult as a memory of his own children’s perception of the world. Experienced fairy tale therapists are sure that fairy tale therapy is sometimes much more needed for adults than for children (fairy tale therapy for adults). In adults, as they grow up, a lot of psychological defenses, stereotypes, various restrictions are formed, and therefore they often show strong resistance to direct influence. The fairy tale, bypassing the mechanisms of psychological defense, turns to the subconscious, gives new ways to solve the difficulties that have arisen in the field of interpersonal relationships, intrapersonal conflicts, overcoming grief, losses, etc.

When a person listens to a fairy tale, his consciousness and the unconscious no longer fight among themselves, but carefully perceive and assimilate the information. This is a very important feature of this method. The advantages of fairy tale therapy also include the ability to work with almost all age groups, in different forms (group, individual), in a variety of problems, the ability to combine with other psychotherapeutic methods and directions. A fairy tale therapist is an amazingly creative profession, because in this direction you need not only to be able to choose the right fairy tale that already exists, but sometimes write your own for one specific client or together with him.

Fairy tale therapy is another effective way to help yourself and others in a soft and fun way. Having mastered fairy tale therapy, you will fill your life and professional activity with creativity, colors, wisdom and magic!

[1000
1650,1666,1768,1770,2007,1769,1652,1681,1694
post-25716","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-art-therapy","tag-art-therapist-en","tag-art-therapy","tag-art-therapy-courses-en","tag-art-therapy-programs-en","tag-art-therapy-rivne","tag-childrens-art-therapy","tag-nazarevich-victoria","tag-psychological-exercises","tag-psychological-festivals
["GET
