When you draw, the whole world is moved beyond the brackets of consciousness, and you create your own reality, exactly your own, and this is just the main indication for drawing just like that: boldly and without regard to the mastery of proportions and perspectives. So, whatever happens in your life – just draw:
• love or hate – draw;
• dream or doubt – draw;
• crying from grief or joy – draw;
• crisis or resource – draw;
• relaxed or tense – draw;
• bored or busy – draw;
• fun or sad – draw;
• scary or bold – draw;
• happy or sad – draw;
• if you want or don’t give a damn – draw;
• hard or too easy – draw;
• Are you tired of resting – draw;
• suffer or enjoy – draw;
• waiting or met – draw;
• alone or with the whole world at once – draw.
Drawing gives us the opportunity to understand life through the prism of our own soul, to consider the colors and lines of our mood. Understanding the causality of the dance of lines and color on a piece of paper is an opportunity to taste everything that is important to you.
So what’s the best way to start talking to yourself? Take a sheet of paper and a pencil and try to catch the rhythm of the soul, how the pencil moves across the sheet of paper: slowly and sadly or playfully and quickly, perhaps aggressively / disappointedly – give yourself an answer, what is your soul rhythm and what does it tell you. What is important to pay attention to in order to become harmonious and holistic in the soul. Perhaps something to change … calm down or show strength.
Then try to hear words through color: yellow is joy or bitterness, green is calmness or resentment, blue is sensuality or detachment, red is love or aggression, white is purity or fear, etc. Color as an indicator of our state provides the necessary signal like a traffic light.
Then you can talk through symbols, well, everything is quite simple here – I draw, I think, I accept, I explain why this symbol appeared on the sheet right now. For what? What request does the soul put before the mind or what does it prompt for a decision or action? Symbols as codes or ciphers are always in different combinations. That is why it is so important to allow yourself to be heard sometimes, and drawing is a safe and very old method of talking to yourself.

I wish you understanding!

©Victoria Nazarevich, 2015

[1000,1657,1658

post-25678","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-art-therapy","category-psychological-drawing","category-psychologist-s-advice
["GET
