It should be noted that the anxiety of a novice psychologist – consultant / psychotherapist is understandable and natural. It is important to realize it, accept it and move on.

 To facilitate the work, beginner isotherapists can follow a certain sequence when interpreting the drawings, which will help to take into account all the details and find the correct interpretation.

 So, the first stage: just look at the finished drawing of the client. What impression do you get? What feelings do you have? Recognize them and remember them. It is not necessary to tell this impression to the client, especially at the beginning. Feel what in you responds to the drawing of the client. Of course, the interpretation of the picture cannot be reduced to your own impressions and associations. Gradually, as you discuss the drawing, compare how you feel with what the client is saying. This will allow you to determine how close you are to understanding the state of the client, to understanding the unconscious processes taking place in his psyche.

 During the second stage, your task is to divide the drawing into its component parts and analyze each of them. The work is quite painstaking, here, as a rule, you need to follow the interpretation of the elements, which is given in the vein of the methodology you applied. Such keys usually describe the values of each element in various ways (depending on its size, pressure, hatching, etc.). The location of the drawing on the sheet, the location of the sheet itself, the size of the drawing, etc. are also analyzed. At the end of the second stage, you will have a set of short ideas, meanings, interpretations, which you can work with in the third stage.

 The third stage is the final and most difficult, especially for beginning isotherapists. At the third stage, it is necessary to organically connect, synthesize all the short meanings with each other into a single interpretation of the client’s drawing.

 The presence of such a sequence of actions helps to streamline the work on interpreting the picture, to avoid chaos, due to which you can miss something important. The main guidelines for interpreting the drawings are as follows:
discussing the drawing with the client is a must. This will reduce the influence of your personal associations and projections on the interpretation of the image;
Nobody canceled the individual approach: consider the personality of the painter!
do not go to extremes: you cannot blindly believe the keys of the methods (an individual approach!), but it would also be very unreasonable to completely deny all the created keys and references. Find the golden mean!
if the drawing is created for the purpose of psychological diagnostics, if possible, use standardized methods, personality questionnaires (this will increase the reliability of the data you receive);
dare!
http://ippt.ru/biblioteka/stati_po_psihologii/psih…chinat_interpretaciyu_risunka/

[1000

post-25572","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-art-therapy
["GET
