The state can change, for example, from anger to sadness, from disappointment to calmness, from anxiety to satisfaction. The positive effect occurs because in the process of creativity, a person activates resources that allow him to experience pain, tension, anxiety with less emotional costs and destabilization of the mental state.

Any activity in which a person creates something new can be considered art therapy, even if the person does it alone or alone. It can be writing, writing poetry, drawing your stress on paper, creating a collage about your goals, desires, needs. A person can sculpt from clay, cut with a jigsaw, embroider, cut or knit. Any hobby that includes the creation of a new product with the use of imagination and through creativity has an art-therapeutic effect, since in this process a person’s feelings change, experiences are expressed.

Working with a psychologist provides an opportunity for verbalization, explanation of one’s feelings, the opportunity to hear the psychologist’s feedback and interpretation, which provide material for awareness and personal growth.

Art therapy is used as a method of rehabilitation. It focuses on the needs of people with mental disorders, using their creativity. Group classes aim to bring people together on the basis of their joint creativity, and not the symptoms of the disease. Classes are held regularly, have established rules that ensure safety, confidentiality and comfortable conditions for self-expression. This allows you to create a sense of stability and security among the group members.

To practice artistic creativity in art therapy, you do not need special skills, abilities or experience. An important goal of art therapy classes is to find a way to express your thoughts and feelings in an abstract and creative way. Through artistic materials – paints, sand, plasticine, paper, magazine clippings, a person can move away from a narrow vision of his problem.

In group lessons, the material used becomes a means of communication, exchange of feelings, different from the usual verbal. Thus, in a group, people use imaginative thinking that conveys and reveals each other’s inner world. Through discussion and exchange of feelings from the created works, they get the opportunity to get a new view of their problem. Group classes provide a positive experience of support, creative development, create a sense of belonging to the group based on self-disclosure through creativity.

[1000
1746,1684,1670,1900,2032
post-25421","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-art-therapy","tag-art-accompaniment","tag-art-therapy-en","tag-nazarevich-art-en","tag-stress","tag-work-with-stress-conditions
["GET
