When we read stories and the author of the book describes the atmosphere and details to us, our brain at the speed of 120 words is able to create this virtual reality. And reading in such cases is the best simulator for the brain. Therefore, reading fiction creates excellent conditions for a constant tone of the brain and provides the conditions for its self-renewal, through the creation of new synoptic connections between the left and right hemispheres.

Whoever reads is harder to deceive
In people whose imagination is formed under the influence of constant metaphors and images, a “truth syndrome” develops, they, like experienced directors, are able to program events in advance and subtly feel falsehood and deceit. They read thousands of times about the nature and features of this state in novels and stories, gradually forming a subtle barometer of feelings from someone else’s experience. This ability makes it possible to see reality in true color.

Whoever reads is a great analyst
Readers of fiction live many lives and, like a sponge, gain experience of getting out of various difficult situations, thereby being able to make choices in life more quickly and efficiently, analyze the situation, and look for the right answers to pressing questions. And by default they are smarter and better at making decisions.
Who reads is creative
The formation of a new reality every time the plot develops in the book, gives the reader the opportunity to subconsciously program new realities with different plot options. This skill develops imagination and imaginative thinking. Thus, these people will be able to make their own lives more inverse and diverse.

Reading builds concentration
By holding the plot and lines, the sequence, we activate our attention and form a high level of its concentration, which is certainly useful for acquiring new skills and mastering new knowledge.

Who read feels less alone
Books are a great way to get rid of loneliness, and as a result, such people have less depression. An excellent book fully involves the reader in the situation and relationships. We seem to become part of the book and loneliness recedes.

Nazarevich Victoria 2020 ©️

Why is it important to read!
